Raised stainless steel decoration is an add-on service for personalising the lid of a 50 cm disc pan. Letters, numerals, symbols, or parts of an illustration are cut from stainless sheet and then welded to the metal lid. The finished design stands above the surface and forms a clearly visible metal relief. The lid and the pan themselves are not included in this item.

How the decoration is made

Unlike a flat laser-marked inscription, this composition is assembled from separate metal parts. Their shapes follow the approved layout and may form a name, surname, memorable date, short phrase, emblem, ornament, or themed silhouette. Polished stainless steel contrasts visually with the lid surface and becomes part of its construction through welded attachment.

Initials, a name, or a short inscription create a restrained design. A gift composition can add a date, a greeting, or a family phrase. A coat of arms, national ornament, hunting or fishing motif, culinary symbol, or logo can establish a stronger theme. The layout may use one prominent element or combine a central inscription with smaller supporting details.

Preparing the layout

The exact spelling, letter case, punctuation, and orientation in relation to the lid handle should be settled before fabrication. An illustration needs a clear silhouette without excessively fine fragments because every component must be cut from metal and attached securely. Short wording and distinct shapes remain easier to read, avoid crowding the circular surface, and leave enough open space around the raised design.

Choosing a suitable design

The composition should centre on one principal element so that the metal relief does not crowd the circular surface. The wording should also suit the circular lid: the principal words can occupy the centre, while a secondary date or short caption may sit below or near the perimeter. If the layout combines lettering and an illustration, one element should remain visually dominant so the finished work has a clear hierarchy and can be understood from an ordinary viewing distance.

Use and care

The completed decoration projects above the lid, so it should be cleaned without impacts or force that could bend its parts. Wipe the lid after use and store it in a dry place. When washing, remove residue around the welded joints and dry the metal completely. This simple care helps preserve the neat appearance of both the relief composition and the lid.
