Green Oxford Cover for a 12-Skewer Collapsible Brazier

This cover is made for storing and carrying the 12-skewer version of a collapsible brazier. Once the brazier has been dismantled, its metal components can be kept together in one closed bag instead of being moved as separate panels. The enclosed format limits direct contact between the brazier and luggage, camping equipment, or storage surfaces while also containing dust and residual grime. The fabric has water-repellent properties that reduce exposure to occasional splashes and brief contact with a damp surface.

Material and construction

The soft rectangular cover is sewn from green Oxford fabric. Its flexible walls follow the shape of the packed components without adding the bulk of a rigid case. A zipper closes the bag, while two sewn handles allow the packed brazier to be carried in the same way as a holdall. The seams are stitched with double thread, and the bottom is made with two layers, placing an additional fabric layer beneath the metal parts. The material can be cleaned when soiled and washed when necessary; it also dries relatively quickly after becoming wet.

Preparing the brazier for storage

• Allow every panel, leg, and fastener to cool completely before packing.
• Remove ash, charcoal fragments, sand, and adhering particles, then dry the metal components.
• Arrange flat parts in parallel without directing sharp edges into one point of the bottom or side wall.
• Before closing the bag, check that protruding components do not obstruct the zipper.

Do not overfill the cover or force it closed. Excessive tension places unnecessary strain on the zipper, seams, and handle attachment points. If the brazier has removable legs or small fasteners, position them so that they cannot move freely between the larger panels or press sharp ends against the fabric. This product consists of the cover only; the brazier and skewers are purchased separately.

Compatibility and care

The 12-skewer designation identifies the collapsible brazier version for which this bag is intended. It does not make the cover universal for every brazier advertised with the same number of skewer positions. The shape of the folded panels, the location of protruding parts, and the overall proportions of the dismantled set must also correspond. After use, shake hard particles out of the cover and clear the area around the zipper. If either the fabric or the brazier becomes wet, dry them separately before placing the set in storage. Water-repellent Oxford fabric does not make this soft cover a sealed container, so it should not be left in prolonged rain or used to pack components that are still hot.
