Mini Automatic Charcoal Grill for 12 Skewers with Motor, 2 mm
Description
This mini charcoal grill is designed to cook food over coals across 12 skewer positions. Its built-in rotisserie is driven by a motor, so fitted skewers turn without constant manual handling while the cook concentrates on coal distribution and doneness. The walls of this version are 2 mm thick. A low profile and a knock-down panel body make the grill suitable for outdoor use and more compact storage after disassembly.
How the automatic grill is built
The brazier is formed from flat steel panels. Shaped slots join the main sections, while the side panels extend downward to act as supports. The drive housing sits on one side and connects with the skewer seats. Decorative cut-outs give the metal body its distinctive appearance without blocking access to the inside during cleaning.
The panel layout allows the body to separate into flat pieces once it has cooled completely. Before use, every joint should be seated fully in its slot: the walls should not wobble and the supports should not shift under the loaded brazier. Assemble the structure before adding fuel, while all metal parts are still cold.
Preparation and drive operation
Place the grill outdoors on a level, non-combustible surface. Before lighting the coals, insert empty skewers and run the motor briefly. Each skewer should move freely without touching its neighbour, the wall, or any drive component. Distribute food without a pronounced imbalance to one side; an even load reduces resistance on the mechanism and helps it maintain steady movement.
- Start with the body: confirm that the panels are fully seated and the supports stand securely.
- Add the skewers: check that their shape matches the seats and permits free rotation.
- Prepare the coals: spread them in an even layer beneath the cooking area and keep open flame away from the motor side.
- Manage the cook: adjust heat through the amount and position of the coals because the drive controls turning, not temperature.
Cleaning and storage
When cooking is finished, switch off the motor and let the metal cool naturally. Remove the ash, clean the inner surfaces with a dry stiff brush, and wipe away remaining residue. Never immerse the drive unit in water; clean its housing with a dry cloth and keep moisture from entering it. Make sure every panel is completely cool before taking the body apart, then store the dry metal sections and motor in a place protected from moisture.
