50 cm Disc Fire Pan with 40 cm Fire Suspension and Solid Legs
Description
This disc fire pan is designed for cooking over an open flame. Its broad round surface provides room for frying potatoes, vegetables, meat, fish and other ingredients that benefit from being spread in a single layer and turned from different sides. A separate fire suspension holds the fuel area beneath the pan, creating a compact outdoor cooking arrangement without requiring the cookware to be placed on a barbecue grill.
Two practical setup heights
The configuration includes tall solid legs as well as standard short supports. The elevated position allows the cook to work while standing and leaves space for the suspended fire element beneath the cooking surface. The short legs provide a lower setup. The tall supports are made as solid pieces rather than joined sections, so they require no sectional assembly before use, although adequate room should be allowed when transporting or storing them.
The pan has a shallow profile with a raised outer rim. This geometry keeps the ingredients open and accessible for stirring while helping contain sliced food as it is moved across the surface. Two T-shaped handles are positioned on opposite sides. They provide holding points while setting up the cold pan and after it has cooled completely; the handles and surrounding metal remain hot during cooking and for some time after the fire has gone out.
Confirmed specifications
- Pan diameter: 50 cm. The surface accommodates several portions while leaving working room for a spatula.
- Metal thickness: 4.5 mm. This should be considered when warming the pan gradually and allowing it to cool fully.
- Rim height: 3.5 cm. The raised edge helps contain chopped ingredients while they are stirred or turned.
- Solid leg height: 1 m. These legs form the tall working setup without sectional joints.
- Standard leg height: 26 cm. The second support format is intended for positioning the pan closer to the ground.
- Fire suspension size: 40 cm. This is a separate element beneath the pan and should not be confused with the pan diameter.
- Handles: two T-shaped pieces. Their opposite positions allow the pan to be held from both sides before the fire is lit.
Setup and care
Assemble the structure on level, non-combustible ground. Before lighting the fire, check that every leg is properly supported, the suspension is positioned correctly and the pan does not lean. Heat is controlled through the quantity and placement of the fuel. Warm the cooking surface gradually and do not leave an empty pan unattended above an intense flame. Suitable hand protection is required whenever touching parts that may still be hot.
After cooking, allow every component to cool naturally. Remove food residue, clean the surface, dry it thoroughly and keep the pan in a dry storage area. Avoid suddenly cooling hot metal with cold water. A lid and carrying case belong to separately listed configurations and are not stated for this version.
