Gart Stationary Charcoal Brazier with Side Table and Removable 68×35×18 cm Firebox for 12 Skewers
Description
A dedicated charcoal cooking station for outdoor gatherings
Gart is intended for cooks who want a full-size stationary brazier rather than a small portable firebox. Its removable firebox provides positions for up to 12 skewers, allowing a family meal or food for a larger gathering to be cooked in fewer batches. The confirmed firebox dimensions are 68×35×18 cm. These measurements are the essential reference when selecting a separate grill grate or other cooking accessory that must fit across the opening.
The cooking area combines the firebox with a side table. This surface can be used to arrange prepared ingredients, hold utensils temporarily, or keep serving pieces close to the person tending the charcoal. It creates a more organised workflow around the brazier and reduces the need to move back and forth to a separate table during every stage of cooking. The table should not be used for hot charcoal or cookware taken directly from the fire.
How the structure is arranged
- Removable firebox. Once every part has cooled completely, the firebox can be lifted out of its supporting frame. This makes ash removal, access to the interior and off-season storage of the cooking section more manageable.
- Positions for 12 skewers. The notches along the edges provide an orderly way to place skewers and maintain a practical interval between portions while cooking.
- Integrated side table. A slatted insert creates a separate preparation surface beside the charcoal area, keeping frequently used items within easy reach.
- Lower framed shelf. Crossbars divide the space beneath the working level and provide an organised place for suitable barbecue accessories whose size and weight are appropriate for the structure.
- Stationary layout. The raised supporting frame is suited to a permanent outdoor cooking area in a garden, at a country house or beside a patio.
Setting up, cooking and cleaning
Place the brazier outdoors on a level, non-combustible surface with clear space around it. Keep it away from dry grass, overhanging branches and other materials that can ignite. Before lighting the charcoal, check that the removable firebox is seated correctly in the frame and that the whole unit stands without rocking or leaning. Build a charcoal layer appropriate for the amount of food, leaving sufficient clearance below the skewers for turning and heat control.
Set the skewers into the designated notches and leave enough room to rotate each one without disturbing the neighbouring portions. The 12-skewer figure describes the working capacity of the firebox; it does not mean that skewers are supplied with the brazier. When choosing a separate grate, compare its dimensions with the 68×35 cm firebox opening and consider how its edges will rest on the rim.
After cooking, allow the charcoal, firebox and supporting structure to cool fully. Remove the ash, brush food residue and deposits from the firebox, wipe away moisture and let the surfaces dry. Because the firebox is removable, it can be cleaned separately without having to turn over the entire frame. Before longer-term storage, do not leave damp ash inside and never cover the brazier while any part remains warm.
Gart suits an established outdoor cooking spot where a generous firebox, a nearby preparation surface and organised lower storage are valued. Its layout works well for family meals, relaxed weekends at a country property and larger batches of skewered food prepared within one clearly arranged barbecue station.
