Description

This automatic skewer rotator turns a conventional charcoal brazier into a setup capable of rotating eight skewers mechanically. The motor keeps the skewers moving, removing the need to turn every one of them by hand in sequence. Continuous rotation exposes different sides of the food to the heat more consistently and makes it easier to cook shashlik, vegetables, or seafood over charcoal. Cooking still requires attention because the finishing time depends on the heat level, the size of the pieces, and the recipe.

Designed to fit over a brazier

The main structure is made of stainless steel and provides eight skewer positions. A visible gear train links the positions so that one motor can rotate the skewers together. The drive is offset from the skewer frame, increasing the distance between the motor and the main area of open heat. This is an attachment installed across a suitable brazier; it is not a separate firebox or a complete grill.

The adjustable width ranges from 27 to 47 cm, allowing the unit to be set for different brazier sizes within that interval. Its overall length is 56 cm and its height is 7 cm. Before choosing it, measure the outside width of the brazier and make sure the supporting sections can rest securely on both sides. The shape and seating of the intended skewers should also be checked. The unit is described as suitable for regular skewers, but their exact dimensions are not specified.

Key operating details

  • Eight skewer positions. Up to eight skewers can rotate during one cooking session without each one being turned separately by hand.
  • Adjustable installation width. The 27–47 cm range lets the frame be positioned for a compatible brazier before the charcoal is lit.
  • Offset motor location. The drive sits away from the skewer frame and therefore farther from the primary heating area.
  • Portable power source. The rotator can be powered from a power bank, which is practical at an outdoor cooking spot without a fixed electrical outlet.
  • Stainless steel structure. The metal section can be cleaned after cooking, while the motor must be handled separately and kept away from water.

Setup, cooking, and care

Place the rotator on a cold brazier before lighting the charcoal, adjust its width, and check that both supporting sides are stable. Fit the loaded skewers into their designated positions, connect the power source, and confirm that every position can rotate without obstruction. Avoid arranging food so that individual pieces project far enough to touch a neighboring skewer. Heat intensity and the distance between the food and charcoal are controlled through the brazier itself.

After use, clean the metal section, dry it thoroughly, and store it in a dry place. Hard brushes and abrasive cleaners are not recommended because they may scratch the steel surface. Keep the motor dry and clean it separately without immersing it. This model is a practical match for a brazier owner who wants to rotate eight skewers simultaneously and needs an installation width that can be adjusted within the stated range.
