AISI 430 Stainless Steel Skewer with Wooden Handle and Double-Sided Engraving, 630×14×3 mm
Description
This skewer combines a practical barbecue tool with personalized decoration. Its flat metal section measures 630×14×3 mm, is made from AISI 430 stainless steel, and is paired with a wooden handle and engraving on both sides. This variant uses one repeated inscription. When several skewers are ordered, they can therefore form a coordinated collection carrying the same name, message, short quotation, or event-themed wording.
The 14 mm width provides a substantial supporting surface for pieces of meat and vegetables. A flat profile helps keep food in position when the skewer is turned, while the 3 mm thickness gives the steel strip a solid working cross-section. The pointed end assists with threading prepared ingredients in sequence. A twisted transition sits between the straight blade and the handle, separating the gripping area from the food-bearing section and making the orientation of the flat blade easier to judge while cooking.
Construction and personalized finish
- AISI 430 stainless steel. The metal blade is intended for repeated cooking over a charcoal brazier or a comparable open barbecue setup.
- 630×14×3 mm format. Selection should account for the skewer’s full length, the spacing between the supporting sides of the brazier, and sufficient room around the handle.
- Wooden handle. It creates a defined gripping area, makes rotation easier to control, and avoids the need to hold the exposed metal blade.
- Engraving on both sides. The inscription remains part of the design as the skewer is turned. This version is intended for matching wording rather than an assortment of different phrases.
- Sold as one skewer. Choose the required quantity separately when assembling a set for a particular brazier or group size.
Matching the skewer to your brazier
Compare the 630 mm overall dimension with the width of the cooking chamber. The metal section should rest securely across both sides, while the wooden handle remains beyond the charcoal and direct-flame area. Consider the shape of the supporting notches as well as the internal width: a 14 mm strip needs a stable resting position and enough clearance to rotate. If you are building a matching collection, count the available skewer positions first and select the corresponding number of individual pieces.
The repeated inscription gives a group of skewers a consistent appearance and makes the format suitable for a home barbecue area, a group of friends, or a commemorative occasion. Before the engraving layout is approved, check the spelling of names, dates, initials, and short messages carefully. The matching-inscription option is designed to repeat the accepted wording, not to alternate unrelated texts from one piece to another.
Cooking and care
Arrange ingredients along the flat section without packing them excessively tightly, leaving some space for heat to reach their surfaces. Turn the skewer using the wooden handle and follow the blade’s flat orientation to control each side. The wooden grip limits direct hand contact with the steel, but it should still be kept away from flames and checked for heat before being touched.
After cooking, allow the steel to cool and remove food residue with warm water, ordinary dishwashing liquid, and a soft sponge. Avoid metal scrapers or harsh abrasives that may scratch the surface and engraved finish. Rinse the skewer and wipe it dry after cleaning. The wooden handle should not be left soaking in water; keep the entire item in a dry storage area between uses. This straightforward routine helps preserve the neat appearance of the blade, inscription, and handle for future barbecue sessions.
