The steel walls and the edges of the cut-outs become extremely hot during use, so the sphere should not be touched or moved while the fire is burning. Keep the open flame under continuous supervision until it has gone out completely.

Care of the painted body

Begin cleaning only after the body, ash, and charcoal are completely cold. Remove fuel residue through the open section and lift soot from the panels and cut-out edges with a soft brush that will not scratch the painted surface. Between uses, store the bowl in a dry, sheltered place rather than leaving it exposed to rain or snow. Protecting the body from prolonged moisture helps preserve the neat appearance of its black finish.
