Automatic skewer rotation without constant manual turning

This tall collapsible automatic grill is designed for cooking food on skewers over charcoal. The built-in skewer rotator transfers motion to the fitted skewers, so they do not have to be turned one by one by hand beside the hot firebox. Different sides of the food are presented to the heat in sequence, leaving the cook free to manage charcoal distribution and check doneness at the right time. The automatic mechanism controls movement only: heat intensity, the distance from the fuel and the moment when the food is removed remain under the user’s control.

This configuration has two motors. Before lighting the charcoal, connect both drives to a power source that matches their operating requirements and test them without a cooking load. Skewers must suit the mechanism’s mounting positions in both length and shaft shape. A correctly fitted skewer turns without leaning, touching the walls or contacting neighbouring positions, while its handle or end engages securely with the drive.

Tall, collapsible panel construction

The firebox is carried on extended support panels, placing the cooking area higher than it would be on a low camping brazier. The main body separates into flat panels with shaped slots and tabs. This arrangement makes carrying and seasonal storage easier: once every part has cooled completely, the grill can be taken apart and the elements joined again at their matching mounting points for the next use. Decorative openwork cut-outs in the side and support pieces give the model its distinctive appearance.

Setup and operation

• Place the assembled body on a level, firm, non-combustible surface. Make sure every panel is fully seated in its joint and that the structure does not rock.
• Before strong heat develops, switch on both motors and check that every installed position rotates freely without jerking, binding or touching the body.
• Distribute the charcoal according to the actual heated area. Automatic turning does not equalise firebox temperature and does not replace checking the food.
• Arrange pieces on each skewer so they clear the walls, neighbouring skewers and mechanism parts throughout a complete rotation.

After use, allow the grill to cool completely, remove remaining charcoal and ash, brush the metal surfaces dry and wipe away moisture. Do not immerse the motors or connections in water or leave them contaminated. Store the separated panels and drive parts in a dry place. Before reassembly, check that the slots are clean, the joints are seated correctly and the mechanism moves freely.
