Large Collapsible 3 mm Steel Rocket Stove, 450×140×350 mm
Description
Wood-burning rocket stove for an outdoor kitchen
This large collapsible turbo stove is designed for cooking outdoors. A frying pan or kazan rests on the upper support, while dry branches, wood chips and small pieces of firewood are loaded through the side fuel hopper. This layout keeps the top of the stove available for cookware and lets the user add fuel from the side without removing the pan or kazan during cooking.
The upright body operates on the rocket-stove principle. Natural draft moves air through the combustion area, so no fan, battery pack or disposable batteries are required. The fuel hopper is set at a 45° angle, allowing the loaded wood to move gradually toward the centre of the stove as it burns. Dry sticks, branches, chips and small logs that fit the loading channel can be used to start and maintain the fire.
Construction and dimensions
The stove is made of 3 mm steel. Its assembled dimensions are 450×140×350 mm, and it weighs 11.5 kg. This weight places it in the category of transportable campsite equipment rather than a lightweight backpacking burner. It is a practical choice for car camping, fishing trips and longer outdoor stays where the equipment does not need to be carried far by hand.
- Stove type: large collapsible turbo stove with natural rocket draft.
- Suitable cookware: a frying pan or kazan placed on the upper support.
- Fuel feed: the side hopper guides branches and chips toward the centre at a 45° angle.
- Transport layout: the fuel hopper and support pieces fit inside the stove base.
- Set contents: one collapsible turbo stove.
Assembly and operation
Before lighting the fire, the components are removed from the base and fitted into their operating positions. No special tools are needed for assembly. The stove must be used outdoors on a level, stable and non-combustible surface, away from dry grass, low branches and other easily ignited objects. The body and cookware should stand evenly without leaning before cooking begins.
Fire intensity is controlled by the quantity and feeding rate of the fuel. Fine dry twigs and chips are convenient for ignition, while small pieces of firewood help maintain the flame during cooking. A burning stove and heated cookware require continuous supervision. The unit should only be moved or taken apart after combustion has stopped completely and every steel component has cooled.
Cleaning and storage
Once the stove is cool, remove ash and loose soot from the chamber. Use a dry, soft brush for cleaning; washing or wetting the steel stove is not recommended. All parts should be clean and dry before storage. Place the hopper and supports inside the base to keep the set together, then store the stove in a dry location.
