Stainless Steel Suitcase Grill 1.5 mm for 12 Skewers
Description
A full skewer line in a folding suitcase format
This suitcase grill provides positions for up to 12 skewers, allowing several portions to cook over one brazier. When opened, it forms a rectangular metal firebox supported by four legs. It then folds into a suitcase-style format for transport and storage. The layout suits car trips, outdoor cooking and use at a country house when a generous skewer line is useful but there is no permanent space for a large fixed grill.
The body is made from 1.5 mm stainless steel, and the grill weighs approximately 7.3 kg. That figure is worth considering before a trip: the unit is portable, but it is better suited to short carries and vehicle transport than to a long walking route. Stainless steel does not need a painted finish, although ash, food residue and moisture should still be removed before the grill is stored.
How the cooking area is arranged
The upper edges of the brazier have a sequence of two-level slots for holding skewers. The two positions allow the food-to-charcoal distance to be adjusted according to the intensity of the heat and the stage of cooking. Each skewer rests in a defined slot, helping maintain space between portions and providing a consistent support point. Ventilation openings in the side walls admit air to the fuel bed.
Capacity for up to 12 skewers describes the available positions rather than a required minimum load. For a smaller batch, only part of the row can be used, leaving room to move skewers between hotter and gentler areas. Spreading the charcoal across the working area without tall concentrated piles makes the heat easier to manage. Skewer position can then be changed to suit the size of the food and its cooking pace.

Setup and routine care
Open the body on a level, non-combustible surface and check that all four legs are firmly supported before lighting the fuel. Keep the brazier away from dry grass and objects that may be affected by heat. Food should be placed over an established bed of charcoal after open flames have subsided, with the available slot levels used to manage the distance from the heat.
Fold the grill only after combustion has completely stopped and every metal section has cooled. Remove the ash and remaining fuel, clean the inside of the brazier and wipe soiled surfaces. Let the grill dry before storage. This keeps the folding parts cleaner and prevents soot or ash dust from marking the vehicle or storage area.
