Description

This suitcase-style charcoal grill is designed for cooking outdoors at a picnic, campsite, fishing spot, or country property. Opened for use, it becomes a full brazier with positions for eight skewers; after cooking, the structure folds into a more compact format for transport and storage. The body is made from 3 mm steel and has a painted finish. It is a practical choice for buyers who want the capacity of a conventional brazier without carrying or storing a bulky fixed structure.

A folding format made for outdoor trips

The case-like design uses less room in a car boot, garage, or storage area. To prepare the grill, unfold the body and place it securely on its supporting legs. The raised cooking position makes it easier to tend the coals and turn the skewers while standing. Before lighting the fuel, check that every section is correctly positioned, all legs have firm contact with the ground, and the brazier does not rock.

The firebox accommodates eight skewers. Slots along the walls provide two placement levels, allowing food to sit either higher or lower above the coals. Skewers can be moved upward when the heat is intense and lowered as the coals begin to cool. This simple adjustment gives the cook more control without rebuilding the coal bed. The eight-skewer rating describes the available positions on the brazier, so skewers should be selected with a suitable working length.

Useful construction details

  • 3 mm steel body. The firebox forms a substantial base for the coal bed and is intended for repeated heating during outdoor cooking.
  • Eight skewer positions. Several portions can be cooked in one batch while keeping consistent spacing between the skewers.
  • Two slot levels. Changing the distance between the food and the coals helps manage browning and cooking speed as the heat changes.
  • Formed reinforcing ribs. The shaped sections strengthen the side panels and help them retain their geometry as the brazier heats.
  • Lower side openings. These admit air along the firebox, supporting the coal bed without enclosing it behind completely solid walls.
  • Painted finish. The coating gives the metal structure a neat, finished appearance suited to a portable outdoor setup.

Setup, cooking, and routine care

Position the brazier on a stable, non-combustible surface away from dry grass, fallen leaves, low branches, and other flammable material. The legs must rest on firm ground, and the body should remain steady while the skewers are turned. Use the grill outdoors, keep hot coals attended, and leave clear space around the firebox throughout cooking.

After the meal, allow the steel to cool naturally. Sudden cooling with water creates an unnecessary temperature change in the hot metal. Once cool, remove all ash and spent coals, then clean the inner surfaces with a dry brush and no abrasive compounds. Fold the grill only when every section is cool and clean. A dry storage location is preferable so that moisture is not trapped inside the closed structure.

This model suits outings where eight skewer positions, a 3 mm steel body, and a transport-friendly folding design are the main selection criteria. When choosing a cooking site, also account for the raised legs: they need a level patch with enough open space around the brazier for comfortable and responsible use.
